Spring cleaning

With spring cleaning comes some much needed website spring cleaning too. I’m in the process of getting everything watermarked, consistently resized and adding an accumulation of new art. I think I may have the majority of it done but that is the reason why it isn’t all consistent yet. Always a work in progress!

Susanna Leonard Hill’s 5th Annual HALLOWEENSIE CONTEST!

This is my first year entering this contest and I have to say it was so much fun! Here is the link for the contest and the rules are….The Contest: write a 100 word Halloween story appropriate for children (title not included in the 100 words), using the words costume, dark, and haunt. Here is the link to her blog if you’d like to read more contest entries. http://susannahill.blogspot.ca/

Here is my entry of 58 words. And of course I had to do a fun illustration to go with it!

Childhood memory

My Mom bought me this book when I was 3 or 4 and home in bed with chicken pox. I loved this book! I actually found it today on amazon and ordered it and I cant wait to read it again. Books and book illustrations have always been an important part of my life and has led me to where I am today. Some of my happiest memories are the childrens books I was lucky to read and coloring in my coloring books or drawing pictures from clouds.
